The G502 X, G502 X LIGHTSPEED and G502 X PLUS are the latest versions of arguably the world’s most popular gaming mouse. Logitech G claims these three new models have an array of breakthrough innovations for the best gaming experience possible.

The G502 X continues the legacy of delivering unrivaled gaming performance with a meticulous redesign of the G502 form factor. In addition, the range has been updated with the most advanced gaming technologies, including the introduction of LIGHTFORCE hybrid optical-mechanical switches.

Exclusive to Logitech G, all the G502 X models come with the all-new LIGHTFORCE hybrid optical-mechanical switches that offer faster speeds and reliability, precise actuation, and a crisp response. LIGHTFORCE is a new microswitch technology that combines all the benefits of optical switches with the important actuation feel of a mechanical switch that gamers prefer. Optical switches are fast and provide high performance and reliability over the mouse’s working life.

LIGHTFORCE uses galvanic contact parts within the switch that operate the same way as mechanical switches, maintaining a crisp feeling. The result is optical and mechanical triggers with excellent gaming performance. Logitech G says LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches are reliable and have ultra-low latency actuation, plus they feature crisp and tactile mechanical clicks.

The G502 X features a redesigned, reversible and removable DPI-shift button to accommodate a wide range of hand sizes and grip styles. There’s also a redesigned scroll wheel with higher stability and lower weight. However, the scroll wheel keeps the G502’s iconic dual hyper-fast infinite scroll and precision ratchet modes. There’s USB-C charging on the two wireless models, plus all the mice have thin-walled exoskeleton designs for lower weight and maximum rigidity.

The G502 X also comes with a HERO 25K high-precision gaming sensor, offering a 1-1 ratio accuracy at sub-micron levels and zero smoothing, filtering or acceleration. In addition, the LIGHTSPEED wireless protocol enables gamers to connect two LIGHTSPEED devices to one receiver using the Device Pairing Tool in the G HUB software. As a result, players can choose to operate the G502 X with the same receiver as their Logitech G915, G915 TKL, or G715 gaming keyboards.

The new G502 X line is compatible with Logitech G’s POWERPLAY wireless charging mats for unlimited battery life without wires. In addition, the G502 X PLUS model also features LIGHTSYNC RGB and includes 8-LEDs that can be customized and adapted as the user plays. The lighting also has start-up and power-down effects, plus battery optimization through active play detection.

The retail prices will be $79 / £79.99, $139 / £129.99 and $159 / £149.99 respectively. All three mice are available in black and white colorways.
