Nikita Paris recovered from a penalty error and helped Arsenal beat HB Koge in the Champions League.

The Gunners defeated the Danish Giants 5-1 in the second half. The forward's clinical performance and Jordan Nobbs' efforts were one of them.

Speaking of her goal, Nobbs said: "I've been waiting for that. When you play in midfield, you want to score goals, which means a lot to the scoring table.

"But I think the most important thing is to continue to work hard to perform well and help the team win as much as possible."

The leader of the WSL league quickly launched an offensive in the opening phase of the game, and Paris forced Kailan Marches to save within the opening ten minutes.

After the Meadow Park ace was knocked down by Cecilie Floe Nielsen in the penalty area, Arsenal seemed certain to take the lead in the first quarter.

But the forward saw her penalty saved by American goalkeeper Marchese in the 16th minute.

However, Edvard's team finally succeeded when Paris won a free kick.

Stephen Cutley bends the ball to the upper right corner near the half-hour mark.

In the second half, Koge, who won the Danish top league title last semester, tried to return to the game.

In the early stages of the second spell, the hosts had several good scoring opportunities.

This included an attempted chip by Maddie Pokorny in the 55th minute and the ball flew over the crossbar of Manuela Zinsberger.

Pokorny tried to make another push forward on the right flank.

However, Arsenal's counterattack allowed Paris to find space to spin and then scored in the away team's second game with half an hour of normal time remaining.

After Nobbs' batting hit the crossbar, Caitlin Fuld took third place.

In the 70th minute or so, Pokorny used Pokorny to get Koge back, and a short error allowed Steph Catley to concede the ball.

However, the late goals of Anna Patten and Nobbs allowed the Gunners to secure the victory as second place in the group before clashing with Tottenham Hotspur's WSL.
