This device is equipped with Smart-Bypass, their new relay-based, true bypass switching system. The main advantages are its on-the-fly latching/momentary capabilities and fail-safe operation. A click of the footswitch will latch the pedal on as normal, but holding it for 300 milliseconds or more will activate a momentary mode. This feature can also be disengaged via the internal DIP (see manual). In the event of a power loss, your signal will automatically revert to bypass, ensuring signal always reaches its final destination.
